Our very first trip with a basic city bicycle. It’s pretty funny to look back at this trip. Who could imagine that 7 years later we would prepare for a much bigger challenge?

We cycled for 1 week through Denmark, completely unprepared,  carrying way too much luggage. Can you believe that we had a big 2 persons airmatrass wrapped around the steering while of Maarten’s bike?

Did we like it? Well it was a challenge, as we experienced that weather is a very big factor to take into account and you have to be prepared for the worst. We had almost every day rain, low tempratures and after a few days everything was dripping wet.

Anyhow, Denmark wasn’t such a great experience, but we learned a lot!
